This route starts and ends at the beginning of the George Washington Parkway in front of George Washington´s Historic Mount Vernon. As you journey along this route, you pass through Old Town Alexandria, and up long the Potomac River overlooking the Washington DC and Georgetown skyline. The route passes goes though some great tree lined back roads dotted with large mansions along the way. You then go on a peaceful twisting Algonquin Parkway and ever popular Fairfax County Parkway. The final part of the trip passes by Fort Belvoir then back to historic Mount Vernon.
