- This is just a very pleasant trip around the Thumb of Michigan.

- Starting at Walmart in Caro (good parking lot to meet in), head West on M-81, turn South on M-24, and follow that down to M-46. Turn East on M-46 and continue on until Port Sanilac, MI. Then, turn North on M-25, and follow that all the way around the Thumb until Unionville, MI. There, M-25 turns West, but the road that continues South becomes M-24, which leads right back into Caro, MI.

- Overall, it´s about 160 miles, and takes about 3.5 hours with no stops, but there are plenty of very nice places to stop for scenic pictures and great food along the way. It´s a simple ride with minimal hazards, and not much for hills and curves, but the scenery is beautiful, especially as the road rides along the edge of Lake Huron. There´s also plenty of lodging along the way, if needed. This is a great ride in the summer, with plenty of beaches to stop at, and a great color tour in the fall when the leaves begin to change.
